One right-click. Zero spam.
Spamgate is a Chrome extension for Gmail that lets you instantly create filters for any sender or domain — right from your inbox, without opening Gmail Settings.
Add Spamgate to Chrome from the Web Store and sign in with your Google account
Open Gmail, right-click any email, and choose Spamgate
Select Trash, Spam, or Junk — the rule is created and your inbox is cleaned instantly
Each action works for a specific email address (e.g. [email protected]) or an entire domain (e.g. @newsletter.com).
Route a sender or entire domain to Trash — now and for all future messages. They never see your inbox again.
Mark a sender as Spam so Gmail learns to filter them automatically. Trains the filter and creates the rule in one step.
Remove a sender from your inbox without deleting their messages. Skip the inbox, keep the archive.
Already have hundreds of emails from a sender you just blocked? Spamgate's Run Spam Rules on Inbox applies all your saved rules to existing messages instantly — no manual selection needed.

Spamgate only requests the permissions it needs to create Gmail filters. Nothing else.
gmail.settings.basic
Needed to create, update, and delete Gmail filter rules in your account — the core action of Spamgate. Without this permission, no filters can be set.
gmail.modify
Needed to find existing messages in your inbox that match a blocked sender, and move them to Trash, Spam, or archive them. Spamgate reads only the sender address and message ID — never the subject, body, or attachments.
Your Gmail email address
Sent to our servers to verify your subscription plan (Free vs. Pro) and to manage billing via Stripe. This is the only data that ever leaves your browser. Your OAuth token stays local.
Email content: never transmitted
All Gmail API calls are made directly from your browser to Google's servers. Heuristicworks never sees, stores, or processes your email messages, contacts, or any other Gmail data.
